In a highly competitive 70-minute finale in Shenzhen on Sunday, India's best men's doubles team, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, defeated China's He Jiting and Ren Xiangyu 11-21, 21-13, and 21-17 to win their first China Masters championship.

After years of struggle and disappointments at the Super 750 finals, their success, declared them as the first Indian players to win the China Masters ever since 2005, when the championship had begun.
